Employment Opportunities

Crane is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Because of a very low turnover ratio, most openings occur as a result of increased clients within the market area.

Depending upon Company needs, Crane will consider placing employees with no previous experience in a comprehensive six-month training program. Instruction includes identification, life habits and methods of control of vertebrate and invertebrate pest animals (including insects, arthropods, rodents, small vertebrates pest birds, bats, and other "occasional invaders"); fundamentals of pesticides including their safe, legal and efficacious handling and use; principles of human toxicology and safety, and all pertinent laws and regulations.

Crane relies primarily upon State-licensed experienced technicians to fulfill most of its expansion needs. Every technician is encouraged to hold a minimum license as a Branch 2 Field Representative. Licensed or certified, each technician must meet the ongoing education requirements each year mandated for a Branch 2 license.

Effective January 2008, the salary for a California licensed Field Representative amounts to $4220.00 per month (night work receives an additional 10%). All full-time employees receive a generous benefits program (medical and dental) as well as a Profit-Sharing Plan. All equipment and company vehicles are supplied.

In addition, Crane has a well-established history of promoting its supervisors, quality control staff, managers and program designers from within the Company.

Interested parties should contact the Corporate office for further information or an application.
